Individuals Struck by Hit and Run Driver may still have Insurance

Even when someone is struck by a motorist that leaves the scene of an accident, as long as the victim has uninsured motorist coverage on his own car or another person in the victim’s home has this kind of coverage, the victim is usually covered by that policy of insurance.
