Two Pedestrians Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident in Stockton

Two people were hospitalized Thursday night after a hit-and-run incident in Stockton, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. near the intersection of Poplar Street and Madison Street. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been struck by a vehicle.

Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Driver Took Off After Hitting Victims

The vehicle involved had left the scene before police arrived, and investigators are now working to identify and locate the driver.
