Meladee Lane Home Damage
On the morning of Tuesday, July 26, 2016, a motorist drove their truck into a Meladee Lane home. The truck was identified as a GMC Sierra and the driver had fallen asleep while driving at approximately 8:00 am. The truck had crashed into the garage where the force of the truck caused the electrical panel to fall off of the wall and struck the hot water heater. However, the truck did not come into contact with the gas lines nor electrical systems. If the truck did come into contact with the gas or electrical components, an explosion would have occurred as a result. None of the occupants in the home were injured in the accident. The driver of the pickup was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
McTucker Drive Home Damage
On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 19, 2016, a driver drove their vehicle into a home located at McTucker Drive and New Hope Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle while making a turn which led the vehicle to crash into the fence and into the home. The house received major damage from the vehicle crash and fire staff had to determine whether the home proposed any future damage to the home occupants. The motorist of the vehicle was identified as a female young adult. No one sustained any injuries during the accident.
