Folsom Hike and Bike Trail

Folsom Hike and Bike Trail

I’m Ed Smith, a Folsom Personal Injury Lawyer. A new hike and bike trail will soon be unveiled along Folsom Road. It is sure to be a delight for pedestrian and bicyclists from all over the Sacramento area. The City of Folsom  may now boast that it has two hike and bike trails. This trail is lovely. It is considered a safe passage way with no motor vehicle traffic. Hikers, runners, walkers and bicycle enthusiasts can take to the trail and feel secure. There is a pretty little creek to enjoy for those who love working out in a natural environment. There are many variations of the terrain for you to experience. I think this trail will become popular in no time at all. The Folsom Hike and Bike Trail extends from Major Drive to Dowlen Road. It follows a path on the south side of Folsom Road. It should open in late January.

New Year’s Resolutions Begin Here

The first month of 2016 is upon us. It isn’t too late to grab your running shoes, hiking boots or bicycle and begin your New Year’s Resolutions. I used to walk several miles before going into the office each day. I never felt better and more physically fit. The benefits of hiking, walking and biking are too numerous to count.

Concrete Trail is 1.4 miles in length

The Folsom Hike and Bike trail is 1.4 miles in length. It is 10-feet wide. Being pretty much free of traffic makes it a quiet place to enjoy the sounds of nature. It just may be the perfect length for a run. Or, if you prefer, a soft jog. It is also a great place to take a brisk walk before going into the office each day.

22-Space Parking Lot

Walking or biking to the Folsom Hike and Bike Trail will be best for those living close to it. If you choose to drive to the trail there is a parking lot located near the Major Drive side of the trail.
