Loss of a Loved One in a Bicycle Accident

No situation can match the heartbreak of losing a close relative, particularly when a loved one dies suddenly in a bicycle accident caused by a negligent party or entity. Such a tragedy may lead to emotional and financial hardship. While no amount of money can undo the pain of losing a family member in a crash nor bring them back, financial recovery may be useful in establishing stability and a secure future. This may be accomplished by bringing a wrongful death claim against the at-fault part.

Identifying all parties and entities responsible for the loss of a loved one is just one step of many that follow a fatal incident. Collecting evidence, determining damages, handling negotiations, and litigating such cases requires extensive experience in and out of the courtroom in addition to knowledge of California statutes. This is where an experienced wrongful death attorney comes in. A lawyer can help surviving family members navigate the legal process and seek maximum compensation on their behalf.

Remember that insurance companies will not be on your family’s side when it comes to financial recovery for damages incurred. That is why it is essential to work with a lawyer who has your family’s best interests at heart.
