Why is it Important to Work with an Attorney?

Insurers are businesses and are focused on minimizing payouts to protect profit margins. As such, claims adjusters use various defense tactics to accomplish that. This may include attempting to shift fault onto a decedent, delaying responses, offering lowball settlements, etc. Survivors are at a disadvantage when they do not have an attorney on their side to protect their rights. Therefore, it is crucial that surviving family members work with a lawyer to ensure that they are not taken advantage of and that a successful case resolution is obtained on their behalf.
