Elk Grove Drunk Driver Injures Two People
Elk Grove Police Department arrested a 59-year-old man who allegedly hurt two people in a three-car crash on January 1, 2016. He reportedly left the scene of the accident without helping the individuals or exchanging insurance information with them. The accident happened at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Stockton Boulevard and Grant Line Road in the southern portion of Elk Grove.
Arrested for DUI and Hit-and-Run
Ross Gardner, a resident of Galt, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also charged with hit-and-run. A spokesperson for the Elk Grove Police Department indicated that they made the arrest while Gardner was travelling southbound Highway 99. Thank goodness officers found and arrested the Elk Grove drunk driver before he could injure additional motorists.
