I’m Ed Smith, an personal injury lawyer in El Dorado Hills. El Dorado Hills is a peaceful area full of beauty and abundance that offers serene lake vistas, unique shopping experiences, and more. Some of the January events in the El Dorado Hills community are detailed below.

Gold Discovery Day

The Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma, California will be commemorating the diversity and richness of the Coloma Valley during the annual Gold Discovery Day celebration. The event will begin a year of exploring the diverse cultures and peoples found in Coloma prior to, during, and after California’s Gold Rush.

On the second Saturday of every month during the park’s Living History event, visitors are invited to explore a unique cultural group. Attendees will be able to listen to lectures on various Coloma cultures including Native American tribes that have lived in the area for thousands of years. Members of El Dorado County Indigenous Tribe will interpret grinding rock and bark house exhibits within the park as well as rebuilding ancient granaries used by indigenous people to store acorns.

The event celebrating the beginning of the season will take place on January 20, 2018, at 310 Back Street in Coloma, California. Those looking for more info can visit this site.
