Authorities said the crash happened on East Street near Gibson Road when the teen’s vehicle struck a tree and overturned, coming to rest on its roof. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to assist those involved.

Driver Injured and Found to Be Over Legal Alcohol Limit

Police reported that at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. Investigators later determined the driver had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.16, which is twice the legal limit for drivers 21 and older.
