Hit-and-Run Crash Seriously Injures Two Pedestrians in Antelope
A crash seriously injures two pedestrians in Antelope after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking their dog on the evening of Saturday, March 7, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Palmerson Drive and Falcon View Drive.
Authorities reported that the victims were out for a walk with their dog when a vehicle struck them and fled the scene, leaving both pedestrians with major injuries. Emergency responders transported the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the suspect vehicle may be a black Toyota Camry that could have front-end or passenger-side damage from the collision.
Residents in the neighborhood say the incident has left the community shaken, and neighbors along Palmerson Drive are calling for improved safety measures in the area.
The driver remains at large, and authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information about the suspect vehicle to contact the CHP North Sacramento office.
