Two-Vehicle Crash on US-50 Near Howe Avenue Causes Injuries and Lane Closures

A two-vehicle crash on US-50 near Howe Avenue in Sacramento disrupted morning traffic and left at least one person injured on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The crash occurred on westbound U.S. Highway 50 near Howe Avenue around 7:11 a.m. and involved a black Toyota Corolla and a black four-door sedan, according to initial dispatch reports.

Emergency responders from the Sacramento Fire Department and Freeway Service Patrol arrived quickly at the scene. Both vehicles were located on the right-hand shoulder near the express lanes, and medical personnel evaluated and treated the injured party.
