The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported a two-vehicle crash on SR-99 and the Pelandale Avenue offramp in the Modesto area on the morning of Wednesday, September 15, 2021. The incident occurred shortly before 7:50 a.m. along the northbound lanes of State Route 99.

CHP traffic officers received an initial report of a single-vehicle accident resulting in a rollover on northbound Highway 99. Upon arrival, authorities located two vehicles that were involved in a traffic collision, and both overturned as a result. One vehicle was found on its roof in the center divider and the other landed on its wheels along the Pelandale Avenue offramp.
Injuries were reported in the car accident in which prompted the response of an American Medical Response (AMR) unit and fire crews.
