Two Injured in Covelo Hit-and-Run Near Logan Lane

A Covelo hit-and-run left two people injured and forced a full road closure along State Route 162 near Logan Lane on Friday afternoon, December 19 north of Ukiah. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 3:52 p.m. when a vehicle veered off the roadway into a ditch, snapping a power pole in half. Debris from the collision created hazards on the roadway in both lanes.
