Two Injured in Late-Night Collision at Orange Grove and Watt Avenue in Sacramento

Two people were injured in a late-night collision at Orange Grove and Watt Avenue in Sacramento. A serious crash involving two sedans injured at least two people on Tuesday night, August 12, 2025, at the intersection of Orange Grove Avenue and Watt Avenue. The accident occurred around 9:28 p.m. and involved a red sedan and a gray sedan. Witnesses assisted a woman in her 40s out of one vehicle, while a man in his 30s was seen holding his head in apparent pain.

Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews provided medical care at the scene before arranging hospital transport for those injured. Traffic lanes were partially blocked as emergency personnel worked to treat victims and investigate the cause of the collision. The California Highway Patrol has not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash.

Road Safety Reminder: Reducing Intersection Collisions

Intersections are among the most common sites for vehicle accidents, often due to speeding, distracted driving, or failure to yield. Drivers can reduce their risk by slowing down when approaching intersections, avoiding distractions, and being mindful of traffic signals and right-of-way rules. Extra caution at night, when visibility is reduced, can help prevent serious crashes like the one that occurred at Orange Grove and Watt Avenue.

Why Hiring a Personal Injury Attorney Matters

After a serious accident, victims are often left facing mounting medical bills, lost income, and the stress of dealing with insurance companies. A skilled personal injury attorney can help protect your rights, ensure you are treated fairly, and pursue maximum compensation for your injuries. From investigating the accident scene to negotiating with insurers, having an experienced lawyer on your side can make the difference between an inadequate settlement and the recovery you truly deserve.
