6th Annual Brentwood Craft Beer Festival Coming Soon. There is still time to purchase your tickets and prepare yourself for a fun night at the 2018 Craft Beer Festival in downtown Brentwood. You can bring your favorite beer mug to the downtown event on Saturday, September 15. Festival attendants will have the chance to speak directly to the local brewers, sample over 50 different beers, eat delicious food, visit the 30+ business vendors and enjoy live music in the background. This popular event is an opportunity to have fun and relax while supporting local businesses.
Event Organization
The Craft Beer Festival is hosted by Brentwood’s Chamber of Commerce, and the annual fundraiser benefits local organizations such as the Soroptimist, Rotary, and Lions clubs. The event will be up and running from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Brentwood Community Center located on Oak Street. Festival co-chair organizer Jacquelyn Wright has high hopes for this year’s event, mentioning that they redesigned festival merchandise including T-shirts, beer cups, and other branded items.
What to Expect This Year
This year, more than 30 specialty brews will be poured from various local and nationwide brew meisters. Confirmed breweries include Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Alameda Island, Sand Creek Pub, Ghost Town, and many more. An expanded beer garden will be featured this year to compensate for the large crowd this festival is expected to bring. Guests can relax at the beer garden while they socialize and sip on their brews. Additional features include a home-brewing competition, home-brew classes and workshops, Archie’s BBQ food tent, and live food demonstrations courtesy of BJ’s Brewhouse. Therefore, festival attendants will get a complete brew experience where they can taste, create, and learn everything there is to know about local and homemade brews. Raffles and door prizes will also be ongoing during the four-hour event. The 925 Band will be providing music, and their performance will begin at noon in the community center parking lot.
Brentwood Beer Festival Ticket and Admission Information
Anyone that is under the age of 21 years will be denied entry. General admission tickets are currently being sold for $50. A limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event for $60. If you are a veteran, first-responder, or in the military, tickets can be purchased online or in-person for $40.
