Details on the Auto Accident Fatality Reported on Harding Road

A preliminary report revealed that a 2003 Honda was involved in a head-on collision with a 2019 Honda at the intersection. First responders arrived at the scene and located the two vehicles, both described as sedans, both with major damage to the front end. CHP traffic officers have not yet disclosed which direction each car was headed. However, it was indicated that the 2003 Honda was found along the eastern edge of the roadway while the 2019 Honda was located near the southbound and northbound lanes.

Things to Know About Car Accident Cases

After a motor vehicle crash, injured parties and families of decedents are often left behind to pick up the pieces. An injured person may deal with mounting medical bills, time away from work for recovery, and vehicle repair expenses. For surviving family members, they may be left in a world of pain and devastation from the extensive losses associated with their loved one’s sudden death. While we would expect the insurer to do the right thing and fairly compensate those who have suffered harm in a head-on collision, that does not always occur in all cases. That is because insurance carriers are businesses focused on reducing their liabilities, and this is often accomplished by paying as little as possible on claims for financial compensation.

When a car accident has left you with injuries or claimed the life of your close relative, it is essential to retain legal counsel immediately following the incident. That is because witness accounts and crucial evidence may be lost or destroyed over time. There is also a strict deadline that applies to personal injury and wrongful death matters, known as the statute of limitations. There is a two-year statute of limitations on these cases per the California Code of Civil Procedure Section 335.1. Contact an experienced Modesto personal injury lawyer immediately to start building a strong case for maximum compensation on your behalf. Benefits of Retaining Legal Counsel

Handling all aspects of a personal injury or wrongful death claim on your own while dealing with unexpected losses may be challenging and overwhelming, to say the least. That is why it is a good idea to hire an injury lawyer to represent you. An attorney can help by:

  • Collecting evidence and conducting an independent investigation
  • Communicating and negotiating with the insurance company
  • Filing necessary paperwork and meeting deadlines
  • Taking the case to court if necessary
