Traffic Detectives Determining Cause of Antelope Intersection Collision

Information was not provided on what hospital the patient was transported to. It was not reported whether drug or alcohol factored into the crash. The cause of the collision is under investigation by CHP traffic detectives to determine which driver was at fault and how the crash occurred.

Serious Injuries in an Intersection Crash

Vehicles collide with force at an Antelope intersection collision, which is why they are particularly dangerous. Unlike residential streets or highways, intersections usually have multiple directions of travel for cars. This means the vehicles may be crashed into from the front, rear or side, all of which carry their own potential for injuries. In addition, the impact between two collisions is more severe when there is more momentum between the cars.

Injuries Can Range from Minor to Severe in Intersection Collisions

A collision at an intersection can result in minor injuries such as bruises and lacerations to serious injuries such as broken bones, brain injuries, paralysis or death. When additional passengers are present in the car without proper restraints such as seat belts or car seats, the accident might become even more serious. The traumatic events associated with intersection crashes may cause those involved to suffer tremendous emotional distress in addition to physical harm.

Fault Determination in Intersection Accidents

Lawyers consider the circumstances surrounding an intersection collision, such as any traffic law violations or negligence by either driver, when determining fault. Traffic rules and regulations are required to be obeyed by all drivers, and if they fail to do so, they may be held liable for damages or injuries.

A lawyer will also consider aspects such as the conditions of the road, visibility, and speed limits when considering a case. Additionally, witnesses can provide information that assists in determining fault in a crash. Attorneys are responsible for thoroughly investigating the accident scene and building strong cases that may provide compensation for their injured clients.
