Crash Information

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Mike Steele, the accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. on Indian Springs Road close to the Majestic View court intersection a short distance west of Grass Valley city limits. The 19-year-old driver was heading east in a Nissan 350 when his vehicle entered a curve in the roadway. While navigating the curve, the Nissan ran off the road and struck a tree.

Responders reaching the crash site discovered that both passengers had suffered visible trauma, and both parties were transported to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for care. Collision Injuries

Car accidents involve a lot of force and are likely to leave people with a variety of serious injuries. Some of the more common accident injuries include:

All of these injuries can range in severity and are liable to leave people with symptoms that dramatically affect their lives. Car accident trauma can leave crash survivors unable to participate in activities they care about, which can affect their mental health. For many, being injured means needing to take time away from work or school, causing a major disruption in their lives and, possibly, a sudden and unexpected loss of income.

Furthermore, recovering can be very expensive. In many cases, people hurt in car accidents need to undergo a variety of medical procedures that may involve surgeries, therapy, medications, and more. Taken together with ambulance fees and hospital stays, these expenses can leave people feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure of what they can do in order to pay for the care they need.
