Accidents Sept 19
MODESTO, CA – A 78-year-old Modesto man tragically lost his life early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash at the roundabout near Floyd and Roselle avenues, authorities reported.
Just after 12:00 a.m., Modesto police arrived at the scene, where they found the man unresponsive inside his vehicle. Sadly, despite the immediate efforts of first responders to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings suggest that the man was traveling south on Roselle Avenue and was unable to safely navigate the roundabout, resulting in the fatal crash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to reach out to Traffic Safety Officer Brad Beavers at [email protected], as their information could be vital in understanding what happened.
