LOS BANOS, CA – On May 4, what began as an attempted traffic stop involving a stolen Jeep Wrangler ended in a frightening crash in Los Banos on Wednesday morning. Around 11:45 a.m., officers with the Los Banos Police Department attempted to stop a white Jeep Wrangler that had been reported stolen near West H Street and Texas Avenue.

According to a police Facebook post, the driver sped away from officers before crashing into a pickup truck. Two people inside the Jeep were hurt and transported to Los Banos Memorial Hospital for medical care. The driver and passenger in the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police said the driver of the Jeep, Julian Robles, was arrested and is facing several felony charges.

STOCKTON, CA — A heartbreaking crash in Stockton claimed the life of a man who was reportedly on his way home from work, according to statements shared by his family on GoFundMe.

On May 2, officers with the Stockton Police Department responded to the area of Clayton Avenue and El Dorado Street, where they discovered an unresponsive man at the scene of a collision. First responders attempted lifesaving measures before he was transported to a hospital, where he tragically passed away from his injuries.

A spokesperson for the United States Postal Service said the 31-year-old had been working as a City Carrier Assistant since December 2025. His family shared on GoFundMe that he had recently achieved a permanent position as a letter carrier, a milestone they said meant a great deal to him.

According to his family, he was only minutes from home when the crash involving a semi-truck occurred. Traffic officers continue to investigate the collision.

LODI, CA — A woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday in Lodi, according to the Lodi Police Department.

Police said officers responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. to reports of a collision near the intersection of Church Street and Elm Street. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
