MODESTO, CA – A serious two-vehicle collision occurred in Turlock on Friday evening, leaving one person with significant injuries, according to the Turlock Fire Department. Emergency crews responded promptly to a call at 9:18 p.m. reporting the crash near the intersection of West Monte Vista Avenue and North Golden State Boulevard, said Battalion Chief Chad Hackett.

One individual sustained major injuries and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. The second person involved in the crash chose not to receive medical treatment at the scene.

The Turlock Police Department also responded to assist with the incident. As of Saturday, there were no further updates available on the crash or the condition of the injured person.
