STOCKTON, CA – A juvenile male who was behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed into a tree in Stockton after a shooting was pronounced dead early Saturday, according to police.
Officers with the Stockton Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Hickock Court at approximately 12:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located a vehicle that had collided with a tree. Investigators determined the driver, a juvenile boy, had suffered a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity.
Police also found a 55-year-old man at another location on Hickock Court who had sustained a graze wound from a bullet. He was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Investigators have not released any information about a possible suspect.
