Driver Killed and Two Passengers Injured in Capital City Freeway Crash Near Fulton Ave

Driver killed and two passengers injured in Capital City Freeway crash near Fulton Ave in Sacramento after the vehicle crashed into a tree on September 9, 2026.

The vehicle collision occurred near Fulton Avenue. All three occupants of the vehicle were transported to a hospital following the crash.

Driver Dies After Sacramento Freeway Crash

According to CHP, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree near Fulton Avenue.

Emergency personnel transported the driver and two passengers to a hospital for treatment. The driver was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities had not immediately released the driver’s identity.
