A two-vehicle traffic crash on SR-51 near Arden Way in Sacramento resulted in reported minor injuries on Monday afternoon, July 27, 2026, along southbound State Route 51 near Arden Way in Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch records.
Crash Blocks Lane on Southbound SR-51
The collision was first reported at approximately 12:27 p.m. Initial dispatch information identified a white Volkswagen Jetta and a red Subaru Outback as the vehicles involved.
One southbound travel lane was blocked while emergency crews responded to assist those involved and manage traffic through the area.
Towing Assistance Requested
A later dispatch update requested a tow truck for a blue Nissan Sentra with major front-end damage that was located on the right shoulder south of the Expo area. Authorities have not confirmed whether the Nissan was involved in the initial collision.
