Two Injured in SUV and Truck Collision on State Route 299 in Redding

Two people were injured following a collision on State Route 299 in Redding involving a large SUV and a truck on westbound State Route 299 on Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2026, according to initial reports.

Crash Occurred Near E. Stillwater Way

The collision was reported at approximately 1:40 p.m. on westbound SR-299 near E. Stillwater Way. Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of a crash involving two vehicles.

Authorities said both vehicles left the roadway following the impact and came to rest in ditches on opposite sides of the highway.

Two Occupants Injured

Initial reports indicate that one male occupant and a second individual sustained injuries in the collision. Both remained inside their vehicles until first responders arrived to provide assistance.

Gas Leak and Roadway Hazards Reported
