One person was transported to a hospital following a single-vehicle crash near Susanville on State Route 139 during the early morning hours of Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

CHP Susanville reported that the collision occurred on State Route 139 near Stones Ranch. Preliminary information indicates the driver drifted off the southbound shoulder of the roadway before crashing into nearby rocks and trees.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and provided assistance to the vehicle’s occupant.

Driver Suffers Minor Injuries

Authorities said the driver, who was identified only as a resident of Washington state, sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
