LODI, CA – Luckily, no injuries were reported after a two-alarm fire broke out Thursday afternoon, May 28, at a commercial warehouse in Lodi’s industrial district.
The fire was reported around 2:15 p.m. at 97 S. Cluff Ave. When Lodi Fire Department crews arrived, they encountered flames emerging from the building as firefighters accessed the roof.
All employees had safely evacuated before crews arrived, according to a city spokeswoman. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within approximately 25 minutes with assistance from the Woodbridge, Stockton, and Waterloo-Morada fire departments.
No injuries were reported among warehouse employees or responding firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
