Two pedestrians injured in a crash on Eagles Nest Road in Sacramento County were struck by a vehicle on Monday evening, May 18, 2026, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Collision Happened Near Eagles Nest Road

Emergency crews responded to the area of Eagles Nest Road and Woodring Drive following reports of a vehicle v. pedestrian collision.

When firefighters arrived, officials reported finding four individuals involved in the incident. Authorities said two individuals from the vehicle were transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation.

One Victim Suffers Major Injuries

Fire officials stated that one individual sustained major injuries while another suffered moderate injuries from the collision. The full extent of the injuries has not yet been released.

Information regarding the conditions of the remaining two individuals involved in the incident has not yet been confirmed by authorities.

Investigation Into Crash Ongoing

The California Highway Patrol temporarily shut down the roadway in the area while investigators worked the scene and gathered evidence related to the collision.
