Crash Details on County Road 32
According to investigators, the driver was traveling westbound on County Road 32 in a 2002 Honda Accord when he approached the S-curve near County Road W. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered off the roadway onto a gravel driveway running parallel to the Glenn-Colusa Canal.
Vehicle Went Down Canal Embankment
CHP reported that after leaving the roadway, the vehicle continued uncontrolled and rolled down into the canal area, resulting in fatal injuries to the driver. Emergency responders were unable to save the driver at the scene. Authorities have not yet determined why the vehicle left the roadway.
