STOCKTON, CA — According to the Stockton Police Department, a man has tragically died on Monday after being struck by a train.

Police reported that the incident occurred on Sunday around 5:40 in the evening near Hammer Lane and Lorraine Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man, aged 24, who had been seriously injured.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment, but despite medical efforts, he later passed away from his injuries.

STOCKTON, CA – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Stockton on Thursday night, according to police.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 9 p.m. to the area of Poplar Street near Madison Street, the Stockton Police Department reported. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been struck by a vehicle.

Both individuals were taken to a nearby hospital, and their conditions have not been disclosed. Authorities noted that the driver involved left the scene before police arrived.

GALT, CA – A single-vehicle crash was reported early Monday morning in Galt, according to logs from the California Highway Patrol.

Officers were dispatched around 2:56 a.m. to the area of southbound Highway 99 and Twin Cities Road. Details about what led to the crash remain unclear.

The vehicle was found in a ditch, and while injuries were reported, they are believed to be minor.

RIVERBANK, CA – A 79-year-old woman from Modesto was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Riverbank, and police are asking for the help from the public in finding the driver who failed to stop and then left the scene.

The California Highway Patrol’s Modesto office said the crash occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 near Langworth and Claribel roads. CHP report that a moving vehicle struck the pedestrian, causing devastating fatal injuries.

Investigators believe the vehicle involved may be a white 2009-2014 Ford F-150. Authorities say the vehicle probably has damage to the front side, including the right headlight assembly, right front bumper, and possibly the hood.
