Accidents January 12

STOCKTON, CA — A man lost his life and five others were injured following a single-vehicle crash near Navy Drive and Fresno Avenue, according to the Stockton Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, where they found the 33-year-old driver had died at the location, authorities said.

Three passengers — a man, a woman, and a teenage boy — were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Two additional passengers received treatment at the scene for minor injuries.

Navy Drive was closed in both directions between South Fresno Avenue and Tillie Lewis Drive while officers conducted their investigation.

Police initially reported that there were three passengers in the vehicle, but later confirmed there were five altogether.
