Bicyclist Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Ramona Ave in Sacramento

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a bicyclist injured in multi-vehicle collision on Ramona Ave in Sacramento on January 3, 2026.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m., about 100 yards west of the end of 14th Avenue, and prompted a coordinated response from fire crews, emergency medical services, and law enforcement. Initial reports incorrectly suggested that a juvenile may have been involved, but authorities later confirmed that no minors were injured.

One bicyclist sustained injuries and was transported to Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The individual was conscious and receiving care. Another person involved in the crash was temporarily trapped inside a vehicle but was alert and breathing as responders safely extricated them. The incident caused a temporary disruption in the area while crews managed medical care and traffic control. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Why Hiring a Personal Injury Attorney Is Important After a Bicycle Accident

Bicycle accidents involving multiple vehicles often raise complicated liability issues, particularly when determining fault among drivers and assessing whether traffic or right-of-way laws were followed. A personal injury attorney can help injured bicyclists protect their rights by investigating the crash, gathering evidence, and communicating with insurance companies. Legal representation is critical to pursuing compensation for medical expenses, lost income, and pain and suffering, while ensuring that cyclists are not unfairly blamed for collisions caused by negligent driving.
