OAKDALE, CA — A driver was injured Thursday morning after a vehicle crashed into a building in Oakdale, according to the Modesto Fire Department.
Emergency crews responded around 8:05 a.m. to the Haidlen Ford, Inc. dealership on F Street. When they arrived, they found a pickup truck had crashed into the building, which had sustained structural damage.
Firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the building, ensuring the safety of everyone in the area. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. Considering the severity of the crash, it is great news that the driver wasn’t more seriously injured, and no one in the dealership was hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, officials said.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA — A pickup truck went off Highway 108 early Friday morning near Donnell Vista Point, landing upside down on a rocky slope about 60 feet from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported during the five o’clock a.m. hour. Thankfully, the driver was able to safely get out of the vehicle and make their way back up to the highway. No injuries have been reported.
A tow truck was quickly on the scene to assist with removing the vehicle from the area. Authorities continued to monitor the situation to ensure everyone’s safety.

SACRAMENTO COUNTY – A motorcycle crash was reported early Friday morning in eastern Sacramento County.
Emergency medical crews responded around 6:09 a.m. to the area of Ione and Pony Brown roads, where a motorcycle had collided with a deer.
According to dispatch radio communications, the adult male rider sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. No additional details were immediately available.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation. We wish both the motorcyclist and the deer a full and speedy recovery.
