Two-Vehicle Crash at North Haven Drive and Watt in North Highlands Sends Victims to Hospital

A traffic crash at North Haven Drive and Watt Avenue in North Highlands led to injuries Friday afternoon, July 11, 2025. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the incident occurred around 2:53 p.m. and involved two vehicles. Emergency crews quickly arrived on scene to assist those involved.

First Responders Treat Multiple Victims Following Impact

Paramedics assessed and treated individuals who suffered injuries as a result of the crash. While officials have not yet confirmed how the accident occurred or how many people were hurt, preliminary reports suggest that victims sustained various injuries. Both vehicles were recovered from the scene, and the CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.

Determining Fault in Multi-Vehicle Collisions

In accidents involving more than one vehicle, determining liability can be complicated. Insurance companies may attempt to shift blame or offer lowball settlements in the aftermath of a crash. That’s why it’s critical to gather strong evidence, witness accounts, and accident reconstruction data early in the process to protect your legal rights.

Reasons to Hire an Experience Attorney

Navigating an injury claim alone can be stressful and risky, especially when you’re dealing with medical appointments, lost income, and pain. A personal injury attorney brings legal insight, resources, and advocacy to ensure you’re not taken advantage of during the claims process. From handling communications with insurers to building a strong case for full compensation, a lawyer allows you to focus on your recovery while they fight for what you’re owed.

Intersection Safety: Preventing Future Collisions

Busy intersections like North Haven Drive and Watt Avenue often pose higher risks for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. High traffic volume, poor visibility, and driver impatience can all contribute to serious collisions. To reduce the risk, drivers should obey traffic signals, approach intersections cautiously, and remain distraction-free. Slowing down and anticipating others’ actions can save lives.
