Airbags Did Not Function in Car Crash Near Fort Bragg

Reasons a Driver Can Lose Vehicle Control That Isn’t Their Fault

There are a number of circumstances where a driver might lose control of their vehicle due to factors outside of their control. These situations often involve external conditions or unforeseen events that make it difficult to maintain proper vehicle handling.

  • Mechanical failures like brake malfunctions, tire blowouts, or engine problems can occur without warning. Retention of the vehicle is important, so it can be examined for defects. If a defect was the cause of the collision, an auto product liability claim may be placed against the part maker, manufacturer, and others.
  • Sudden road hazards, including debris, potholes, incorrect or missing signage, and others, may force drivers into taking evasive actions that end in a car crash near Fort Bragg.
  • Other drivers’ errors, such as unexpected lane changes or reckless driving, can create dangerous situations, causing another driver to lose control of their vehicle.
  • Improper road maintenance leading to faded markings, uneven surfaces, or a lack of signage can increase the risk of accidents. When government negligence causes an injury accident, the entity in charge of maintenance may be held liable. However, the statute of limitations for government claims is only six months. Because of this short timeline, enlisting the help of an accident lawyer can help you recover your deserved compensation.
