STOCKTON, CA — A serious single-vehicle accident occurred early Friday morning in San Joaquin County, just west of Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the scene around 3:52 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4, just past Tracy Boulevard.

While the cause of the crash is still under investigation, reports indicate that the vehicle left the roadway and ended up in Trapper Slough. Authorities have noted that there may be major injuries involved.

MODESTO, CA — According to authorities, a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office patrol car was involved in a crash with a civilian vehicle Monday morning.

The incident took place at approximately 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and Riverside Drive in Modesto. Fortunately, according to Modesto Police, no injuries were reported, and the crash resulted in property damage only.
