Sacramento Driver Rage

Sacramento Driver Rage

Sacramento Driver Rage – Highway 99 on October 6, 2018,  was the site of Sacramento driver rage when someone shot a gun into a vehicle, causing it to crash. Multiple cars also crashed as a result, and lanes on the highway were closed for hours for an investigation to be conducted by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the accident field to be cleared. There is currently no description of the vehicle that caused the accidents, and the CHP is asking anyone with information to call 916-861-1300 if they can help.

Details of the Sacramento Driver Rage Incident

The incident started at about 3:45 in the morning along the southbound side of Highway 99 near U.S. 50 as a Toyota Corolla with four people inside was traveling south close to the exit ramp for 12th Avenue. For unknown reasons, someone began shooting at the Corolla in a road rage incident, according to the CHP. The driver and passengers inside ducked, and the Corolla struck a guardrail and construction barrels. It then experienced a rollover and stopped in the traffic lanes. No one was hurt in the incident. The driver and other three people in the vehicle climbed out and ran to the center divider of the highway.

Sacramento Driver Rage Accident Causes Other Crashes

A third vehicle, a Nissan Altima, collided with the Corolla in the roadway, which caused the disabled car to spin, where it was hit by an oncoming Honda Accord. Also, it was reported that two other vehicles were involved in a separate collision while trying to avoid the crashed cars in the roadway. Fortunately, no one was injured in any of the accidents.

  • Remain calm and don’t panic.
  • Avoid interacting with the other person.
