A pedestrian injury occurred in Florin on March 19 when a vehicle struck an older man walking across the street at Stockton Boulevard and 65th. The accident happened around 12:14 in the afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) report. Although the name of the pedestrian has not been released, he was identified as a 70-year-old. Additionally, it was reported that the vehicle that struck the pedestrian was going the wrong way on the street at the time the accident occurred, and a traffic light was knocked down in the crash. The intersection was blocked as emergency responders assessed the pedestrian’s injuries, and a tow truck removed the vehicle responsible for the injury.
