Sacramento Street Intersection Collision Injures Pedestrian
A Vallejo woman suffered serious trauma in an intersection crash recently when she was hit by a left-tuning truck. The injured woman was identified as Elena Hernandez, 24, who was hospitalized in Fairfield at North Bay Medical Center for trauma to her head, ribs and a fracture. According to authorities, she was struck around noon while in the crosswalk at the Sacramento Street intersection with Redwood, which is equipped with traffic lights.
