South Sacramento Rollover Crash
I’m Ed Smith, a South Sacramento auto accident attorney. Officials have suggested that alcohol and speed may be factors in a three-vehicle crash that occurred early Friday morning.
What Happened?
A rollover crash occurred along 20th Street and Florin Road. Emergency personnel arrived to the scene at around 3:30 a.m.
An official from Sacramento Police Department (SPD) indicated that a white sport utility vehicle was proceeding westbound along Florin Road when it collided with a gold Acura. The Acura was attempting to make a left turn onto 21st Street.
Upon impact the SUV was pushed into a light pole and then hit a Jeep Cherokee. The jeep had been parked at a stop sign along the frontage road.
An officer from the Sacramento Police Department said one person was arrested after failing to pass a field sobriety test.
Was Anyone Hurt as a Result of the Crash?
A person riding as a passenger in the Acura had to be transported to the hospital with injuries.
