A Redding DUI crash on May 5 at 7:55 p.m. resulted in significant traffic delays and the arrest of a woman suspected of driving under the influence. She was moving north along Hilltop Drive near the overpass for Interstate 5 when her vehicle exited the roadway, crashed through a guardrail and fence. The SUV went down an embankment before it crashed into a tractor-trailer driven by an Idaho man, age 49, according to the Redding Police Department.
