Pittsburg Auto Accident Injures One
One person suffered injuries in a Pittsburg auto accident that took place on Tuesday, February 5, 2020. The crash occurred during the morning just outside of the Pittsburg Center BART station and involved three vehicles. While the injured party was hospitalized, responders indicated that they did not suffer life-threatening trauma.
Crash Details
The collision took place at 8:49 a.m. on Highway 4, a short distance west of the on-ramp at Railroad Avenue. According to details reported by California Highway Patrol (CHP), a black Chevy Avalanche, as well as a Toyota Corolla and a third vehicle, were all involved in the crash. However, specific details about the incident have not been released.
Emergency response teams were sent to the accident site, and officials stated that they discovered one individual at the scene who had suffered significant injuries. The injured individual was taken via ambulance to the John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment.

CHP has indicated that its officers are currently investigating the crash. As the investigation continues, CHP has not reported any possible crash factors.
