November 2018 Folsom Community Event Calendar
November 2018 Folsom Community Event Calendar – The holiday season is among us, and this time of year is optimal for both individual and community growth. We celebrate those we hold closest to us, reflect on the self-progress we’ve made over the year, and have unlimited opportunities to give back to the community around us. The city of Folsom is a lovely place to be during fall, and residents are faced with an overwhelming number of community events that can make it hard to choose which one to attend! Luckily, I have collected a handful of upcoming local activities below for you to take your pick at.

Art in the Garden: Blank Canvas
Date: Saturday, November 10, 2018
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: 929 Sutter St, Folsom, CA 95630
Admission: $25 tickets
This isn’t just any ordinary painting session. Held at the gardens of The Beautiful Center, all aspiring artists, and creative minds will come together to express a true piece of their soul on a blank canvas. This is not an instruction-driven course. Artists will be encouraged to paint whatever comes naturally, so every outcome will be unique to the individual behind the canvas. There will be instructors there to provide guidance and inspiration if needed, but ultimately the artist will choose what to create. All necessary art utensils will be provided.
Folsom Kidical Mass Bike Ride
Date: Sunday, November 18, 2018
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: 403 Stafford St, Folsom, CA 95630
This family-friendly event will be meeting up over the weekend at the playground of Folsom City Lions Park. Participants are being asked to bring with them a few non-perishable food items, and these foods will be donated to a local agency during the ride. Folsom Kidical Mass is an organization that supports family biking sessions through fun group rides every month. Bikes will not be provided, although all types of bikes are acceptable to bring.
