Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Fresno
I’m Ed Smith, a Fresno car accident lawyer. A car accident involving four vehicles occurred west of Fresno on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Sadly, the crash caused four victims to suffer traumatic injuries.
What Happened?
Firefighters from the Fresno Fire Department, three ambulances and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene of an automobile accident along Shaw Avenue and Dickenson Avenue at approximately 2:44 pm. When emergency personnel arrived, they located four damaged vehicles and four injured victims. The impact of the collision, unfortunately, caused two of the four victims to be pinned inside their vehicle.
Was Anybody Injured?
Officials reported that medical personnel transported two people via ground ambulance to the Saint Agnes Medical Center and the other two to the Community Regional Medical Center. The status and condition of the victims’ injuries has not yet been released.
What Caused the Accident?
A cause of the accident has not yet been ascertained by CHP. A Traffic Collision Report usually takes seven to ten days to be processed.
