Midtown Wrong Way Crash

I’m Ed Smith, a Sacramento Injury Lawyer. A motorist had to be hospitalized for injuries sustained in a wrong way driving collision in Sacramento.

What Happened?

On the morning of May 26, 2016 at about 3:00 a.m. a man was driving the wrong way down J Street in the Midtown area of Sacramento. As his vehicle approached 26th Street he collided with another vehicle.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash had an Uber identifying sticker on the passenger side windshield.

No word if the Uber vehicle was travelling the wrong way down J Street or the Uber vehicle was hit by a motorist proceeding the wrong way down J Street.

The wrong way driver indicated he did not know that he was travelling the wrong way.

Crash Currently Under Investigation

Investigators will prepare a traffic collision report and it will be available in five to ten days.
