What Steps Should Be Taken if a Child is Injured in a Pedestrian Accident?

As parents and legal guardians, we want the best for our children. It is essential to follow these steps to protect your family in the event of a pedestrian accident that has caused injury to your minor child:

Can a Parent Bring a Personal Injury Claim on Behalf of a Child in California?

Injuries suffered in a traumatic event like the one above can cause long-lasting physical and psychological effects. A personal injury claim may be brought on behalf of an injured minor child against a negligent driver or entity in such situations.

Given that drivers are expected to exercise a higher duty of care when traveling in areas where children tend to be present, they may be held liable for an injury caused to an adolescent. Common areas may include school zones, parks, neighborhoods, and more.
