A Lodi two-vehicle accident on June 2 caused minor injuries to one person. Investigation Will Determine Cause of Lodi Two-Vehicle Accident

One of the vehicles exited the roadway in the collision and had to be brought back up to Peltier Road by a tow truck. No information was released on whether the injured person was treated at the scene or transported to a hospital. CHP traffic detectives are conducting an investigation into the cause of the collision and will assign fault.

Experiencing Delayed Symptoms Following a Car Crash

Certain injuries might not manifest immediately when involved in a Lodi two-vehicle accident. Seeing a doctor afterward is important if what you thought was minor trauma turns out to be more serious. Some common injuries may include:

  • Headaches: Persistent headaches following a car accident could be a sign of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or concussion. These headaches might not appear right away but can worsen over time.
  • Neck pain: Cervical strain or sprain often leads to neck pain, which may take days or weeks to develop. Symptoms include neck stiffness, severe pain, and restricted range of motion.
  • Back pain: Experiencing back pain after a car accident can range from muscle strains to significant spinal injuries.
  • Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain after an auto crash could point to internal organ bleeding or trauma. These conditions require urgent medical evaluation.
  • Numbness or tingling: Feeling numbness or tingling could suggest nerve damage or a herniated disc resulting from the collision. This sensation may initially be limited to the hands and feet but can extend to other areas if untreated.

Compensation Recovery in an Accident Caused by Negligence

When an injury results from a negligent driver’s actions in a Lodi two-vehicle accident, compensation can cover several areas:

  • Medical costs: Injured individuals can seek reimbursement for all medical-related costs. This includes ambulance services, hospital stays, surgeries, doctor visits, medications, and rehabilitative care. If the injury is ongoing at the time of settlement, a lawyer will estimate and include future medical expenses in the compensation.
  • Lost wages: If the injured party cannot work and loses income, they can claim compensation for those lost wages. Additionally, if they are forced to take a lower-paying job due to their injury, they can recover the difference in earnings. For cases involving permanent disability, victims may obtain compensation for future lost wages up until the age of retirement.
  • Pain and suffering: Injury attorneys help victims secure compensation for their physical pain and emotional distress resulting from the accident.
