Brentwood Crash Injured Eight People
A recent three-car accident in Brentwood left many people requiring medical attention, with as many as eight people injured. Of those eight people, seven were sent to local hospitals to follow up on potential treatment for their injuries. The accident happened near Lone Tree Way at Brentwood Boulevard.
Preliminary Accident Information
Preliminary information from the crash suggests that one of the three cars was making a turn to pull into a driveway when it collided with another vehicle. The car that had been making a turn started spinning in the road before hitting another car driven by a Brentwood CSO officer.
What is currently known about the accident is that eight people were injured, one of which is a Community Service Officer in Brentwood. No deaths have been reported, and none of the injuries sustained were life-threatening. Emergency response crews attempted onsite medical treatment, but it was challenging due to “language barriers,” according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District. One of the drivers involved in the accident was asked to take a sobriety test and passed. The Brentwood Police Department is investigating the crash.
