The incident occurred at approximately 5:52 a.m. on October 9, when a dark red 2019 Honda Pilot, driven by a female who is pregnant, was struck by a blue or black older Infiniti. Witnesses told the California Highway Patrol (CHP) that the Infiniti was driven by a male in his 20s who fled the scene immediately after the collision.

CHP reported that the woman, who complained of lower back pain following the crash, was evaluated at the scene. The suspect vehicle was last seen heading away from the area as CHP’s traffic crash unit began its investigation.
