Car Crash in Vallejo Leaves One Person Injured
One person sustained serious injuries during a car crash in Vallejo that occurred on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Officials from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that this crash happened at night near the community of Glen Cove on the southwestern side of the city and involved two separate passenger cars. Additionally, CHP has stated that this accident is still under active investigation.
Collision Details
Police reports state that the crash happened at around 8:18 p.m. on eastbound lanes of Highway Interstate 780 close to the exit for Glen Cove Road. Details about the circumstances preceding the crash haven’t been reported. However, police did state that one of the vehicles drove off-road as a result of the crash and eventually collided with a copse of trees on the side of the highway.
Responders were sent to the scene and arrived shortly after the collision occurred. Medical personnel determined that one of the vehicle occupants had been seriously hurt and had the individual driven to a nearby hospital via ambulance to receive care. Updates on the injured individual’s health condition were not available at the time of reporting.

As CHP conducts their investigation into this crash, investigating officers haven’t mentioned what factors could have been involved.
